Acoustic Blues are Tom Corness & Ian Geercke

After playing a few impromptu sessions down at The Bull in Stanford Dingley, we formed Acoustic Blues in 2006 & did some practice! Our aim is to play songs that we like playing, and along the way entertain you. That may be why the set list is somewhat eclectic!

Tom is a guitarist with a light touch and subtle lead style, moving effortlessly around the fretboard of his Takamine acoustic. He has also recently taken up the Mandolin! Hear it on Maggie May & Losing My Religion!

Ian delivers energy and strong rhythms on his Avalon acoustic and has a delicate slide style on his Ozark National Steel guitar, which has a recently added Fishman pickup.
